Crit week, semester 2, 2008

Hello all,

here are the things you need to know about crit week and assessment arrangements:

Tuesday 21 October:
Design 2 Crits, level 3 exhibition space. Work to be up by 9:00am in spaces indicated on the plan that will be in the space. Digital work to be loaded onto machine connected to projector in level 3, all ready to go. Staff to check off work 9:00-9:20, crits, with guest critics, commence 9:30am and completed by 1:00-1:30pm.

2:00pm - 5:00pm students to remove work from level 3 crit space.

Thursday 23 and Friday 24 October
Design 2 staff assess student work. All your studio work from semester 2 must be in the indicated spaces on level 2 (as per plan in post below) by 9:00am on Thursday 23 October. Please place work in folders, boxes etc and make sure all is carefully and clearly labeled with your name and ID number. Digital work should be on CD copies. (Please check your CD contents, last semester a number of CD's were handed in blank).

Tuesday 28 October
Design 2 staff moderation of grades

Thursday 30 October
Design 2 grading moderation review, architecture staff, Head of Programme and Head of Studio

Friday 31 October
Remove all design work from studio spaces.

Don't rely on printing the day before, you can be sure the print queue will be long and/or the printer will crash. Get onto printing Thursday and Friday this week.
Back up your files, back up your files, back up your files!
Sleep and eat.
Write 100 words about the key ideas in your project.
